That rate covers a learning center or online session, and an in-home session adds $5 an hour. No contracts, and you can change the schedule as the season changes.

Yes. Your student takes a full official ACT or SAT practice test at no cost and with no obligation to enroll afterward. The scored results are the starting point for everything else, because they show which sections are already solid and which ones are quietly costing points.
How much does ACT and SAT prep cost?
ACT and SAT prep is $85 per hour at the Barrington or Wheaton learning center and online, with an optional workbook available for $149. In-home sessions are $5 per hour more than the rates above. There are no contracts to sign.
Should my student prepare for the ACT, the SAT, or both?
The practice test is what answers that question. Many students find one format sits better with how they read, pace themselves, and handle math, and the diagnostic results make that difference visible before you spend months preparing. Once the target test is chosen, prep time goes toward one format instead of being split.
When should a student start test prep?
Start early enough to leave room for consistent weekly sessions before the test date you are targeting, plus a retake window in case your student wants a second attempt. Steady weekly work over a stretch of months does more for a score than a cram sequence in the final two weeks.
Do sessions cover test strategy or the actual academic content?
Both, in the same session. Timing, question order, educated guessing, and pacing are strategy skills that any student can learn. Underneath that, missed questions usually trace back to specific content gaps in math, grammar, or reading, and those get taught directly rather than worked around.
